These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the MotorOnRoadLtd website and services ("Platform"). By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

MotorOnRoadLtd is a UK-based managed facilitation service. We act as a middleman between private car buyers and sellers — we do not buy, own, or sell vehicles ourselves. All transactions are between the buyer and seller directly; MotorOnRoadLtd facilitates the introduction and process for a service fee.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Platform.

"Platform" means the MotorOnRoadLtd website at motoronroadltd.com and any associated services.

"User" means any person who accesses or uses the Platform, whether as a buyer, seller, or visitor.

"Seller" means a User who lists a vehicle for sale on the Platform.

"Buyer" means a User who submits an enquiry or purchases a vehicle through the Platform.

"Listing" means a vehicle advertisement created by a Seller on the Platform.

"Facilitation Fee" means the service charge payable to MotorOnRoadLtd upon successful completion of a transaction.

"Transaction" means the agreed sale of a vehicle between a Buyer and Seller facilitated through the Platform.

To use our Platform you must:

Be at least 18 years of age.

Be a UK resident or be purchasing/selling a vehicle registered in the UK.

Have the legal right to sell the vehicle you list (sellers only).

Provide accurate and truthful information when registering or submitting enquiries.

By using the Platform, you confirm that you meet these requirements. MotorOnRoadLtd reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts where eligibility requirements are not met.

MotorOnRoadLtd is a facilitation service, not a vehicle dealer or auction house. Our role is to:

List vehicles on behalf of sellers.

Screen and forward genuine buyer enquiries to sellers.

Coordinate viewings between buyers and sellers.

Provide post-sale support for 7 days following a completed transaction.

**We are not a party to the sale contract.** The contract of sale is formed directly between the Buyer and Seller. MotorOnRoadLtd does not take ownership of any vehicle at any point.

We do not provide warranties, guarantees, or assurances regarding the condition, history, or title of any vehicle listed on the Platform. Buyers are strongly advised to carry out independent checks (e.g. HPI check, independent inspection) before purchasing.

As a Seller, you agree to:

Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information about your vehicle, including mileage, service history, known defects, and MOT status.

Only list vehicles you legally own and have the right to sell.

Not list vehicles that are subject to outstanding finance without disclosing this to MotorOnRoadLtd.

Not list stolen, clocked, or fraudulently obtained vehicles.

Respond promptly to enquiries forwarded by MotorOnRoadLtd.

Honour agreed sale prices and not withdraw from a transaction without reasonable cause.

Pay the Seller Facilitation Fee (1.5% of agreed sale price, minimum £99) upon successful completion of a sale.

Breach of these obligations may result in immediate removal of your listing and suspension of your account. MotorOnRoadLtd reserves the right to report fraudulent activity to the relevant authorities.

As a Buyer, you agree to:

Submit enquiries only for vehicles you have a genuine interest in purchasing.

Provide accurate contact details when submitting an enquiry.

Not engage in fraudulent, misleading, or abusive behaviour towards sellers or MotorOnRoadLtd staff.

Carry out your own due diligence on any vehicle before purchase, including but not limited to: HPI checks, independent mechanical inspections, and verification of the seller's identity.— Pay the Buyer Facilitation Fee (£199) to MotorOnRoadLtd upon successful completion of a purchase.— Not attempt to circumvent MotorOnRoadLtd's facilitation process by contacting sellers directly outside the Platform prior to introduction.

**Buyer Facilitation Fee**: £199, payable to MotorOnRoadLtd upon successful completion of a purchase through the Platform.

**Seller Facilitation Fee**: 1.5% of the agreed sale price, minimum £99, payable to MotorOnRoadLtd upon successful completion of a sale.

Fees are only charged when a Transaction successfully completes. No fee is charged for browsing, listing, or submitting enquiries.

Fees are non-refundable once a Transaction has completed, except where MotorOnRoadLtd has failed to deliver the agreed facilitation service. Disputes regarding fees must be raised within 14 days of the Transaction completing.

MotorOnRoadLtd reserves the right to amend its fee structure with 30 days' notice to registered users.

You must not use the Platform to:

List or purchase stolen, clocked, or fraudulently obtained vehicles.

Provide false or misleading information in listings or enquiries.

Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or MotorOnRoadLtd staff.

Attempt to bypass our facilitation process or fee structure.

Scrape, copy, or reproduce Platform content without written permission.

Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or interact with the Platform.

Engage in any activity that violates UK law, including the Fraud Act 2006, Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008, or the Road Traffic Act 1988.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and referral to law enforcement where appropriate.

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:

MotorOnRoadLtd is not liable for the accuracy, completeness, or legality of any vehicle listing created by a Seller.

MotorOnRoadLtd is not liable for any loss, damage, or dispute arising from a Transaction between a Buyer and Seller.

MotorOnRoadLtd's total liability to any User for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed the Facilitation Fee paid by that User in connection with the relevant Transaction.

MotorOnRoadLtd is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses including loss of profit, loss of data, or loss of opportunity.

Nothing in these Terms limits MotorOnRoadLtd's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

All content on the Platform — including text, design, logos, and software — is owned by or licensed to MotorOnRoadLtd and is protected by UK and international intellectual property law.

You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g. vehicle photos and descriptions), but by submitting content you grant MotorOnRoadLtd a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and reproduce that content for the purpose of operating the Platform and promoting our service.

You must not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform content without our prior written consent.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@motoronroadltd.com.

MotorOnRoadLtd may suspend or terminate your account immediately if:

You breach these Terms.

We reasonably suspect fraudulent or illegal activity.

Your account has been inactive for more than 24 months.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including liability limitations and intellectual property rights) will continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or via a notice on the Platform at least 14 days before changes take effect.

Continued use of the Platform after updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform and may close your account.
